I've always been a fan of Oscar but Cotto IS the real deal and in his quite lengthy prime(which we more than likely havent seen the best of) would outjab, outpower, and ultimately dictate the pace...one thing that really amazed me watching Cotto's last fight was the speed he'd gained from his last fight.....The more I think about it, it would probably be murder, and for me a sad demise of a great legend in De la Hoya......trust me mates Cotto is a freight train that is showing no signs of slowing down, and is only improving and impressing us with every fight...his next will be no different.

last night i was really not impressed wth oscar, he seemed alittle sloppy and kept missing combinations, if he fights either floyd or cotto like that he will lose for sure.

    Oscar by UD.
The size difference will show alot in this fight.
    (I agree "Size ain't ****")
But if Oscar can fight with his height to his advantage as he did last night, I see even a 35 year old De La Hoya with enough firepower to stand in there and take a decision victory over Cotto.

in other words it won't be easy for Cotto.
but that Margo fight will tell more than anything what we can expect from Miguel in a superfight Vs. The Golden Boy (Heartwise). but as of right now, I got Golden by UD.

WHAT MAKES YOU THINK COTTO ALREADY REACHED HIS PRIME? EVERYTIME I SEE HIM OUT HE LOOKS BETER THAN THE LAST. IMO.

Fighting at 147, I'll say Cotto by wide UD.. I think Cotto would prove to be too quick and smart for Oscar.. Oscar missed a lot of combinations last night and Cotto would work on his body good..

Cotto wins big time. Oscar got touched up quite bit by Forbes last night. The welterweight Oscar of circa 1999 would have stopped Forbes. Cotto would absolutely feast in the 2008 version of De la Hoya. :smoke :smoke

DLH cannot even make 147 anymore. He was only able to get to 150 and he didnt look to healthy.

    Cotto rearranges his face.

Delahoya, he looked good last night with his speed. He looked better last night than when he fought Floyd. He didn't look outstanding but it was a descent performance. As far as him fighting Cotto at 154, Cotto has never fought there and would look fat because he's already thick for 147, Oscar would win in either weight class. But it would be a good fight.

If Oscar trains brings the condition he had agains Floyd. Cotto by desicion. If he shows up to fight like last night, Cotto by KO. But I am thinking about 147lbs. Can't really tell how Cotto would look at 154lbs. Last night fight was at 150lbs.

Of course he looked better than against Floyd. Forbes is not Floyd. DLH was suppose to look like Margarito did against Cintron or Cotto against Gomez. But he didn't. A win is a win. This was a decent perfomance. But not excellent.

I actually like DLH in this fight. Cotto has been hurt so many times but his opponents didn't finish him, DLH is the ultimate finisher of this era. When he hurts someone he doesn't let them live.
