Cotto would most likely win now, he's in his prime. Oscar is 34, past his best and winding down his career.

Cotto's style favors Oscar, how I see it. I feel he has enough left in him to pull it off.

Don't let his performance against Forbes fool all of you. He's had a history of looking mediocre against slick, defensive fighters. Whitaker, Mosley, Floyd etc., and last night wasn't any different. Against Cotto I don't think Oscar would have any trouble landing his punches. He's still got some speed left in him and he's smart enough to look out to be wary of those body shots. Oscar UD.

only 1 winner here de la hoya will make cotto work all the way he will struggle to get past oscars jab all night and i wont be surprised if oscar stops him, cotto is good but there still a few flaws in his game , i think de la hoya can expose him , n dont disagree with me only becuase cotto beat mosley and mosley beat de la hoya

I'm disagreeing because in the middle rounds of the Cotto-Mosley fight, Cotto's pressure and strength looked to be doing a number on Shane and he looked tired. If Oscar gets tired, like he has in the past, he's ****ed.

stuped question, how can you make an assumption of a fighter at a weight that he has never fought at. if you said 147 then orite because both have fought there, and if you ask me to choose between the prime 147 delahoya aginst todays cotto i would go for delahoya.

Oscar UD. Wouldn't surprise me the other way however, I see this as similair to the Msoley fight, with added advantage to Oscar given the weight.

but doesnt cotto have a history of being troubled by fighters with range and distance if oscar can step up the pace for cotto in the early rounds and have him struggle to keep up with the pressure of oscars body shots and jabs then by quick in and out movements then de la hoya can beat cotto

Oscar will find Cotto plenty of times with the jab and quick combos. I feel Cotto hasn't fought anybody with the boxing ability that Oscar possess, Mosely was close but Oscar is more effective.

Carlos Quintana, Shane Mosley, Zab Judah, Paulie Malignaggi, are all successful fighters with good boxing ability, and Oscar is not what he once was
