Winky beat my boy clealry in the 2nd fight, and in my opinion Bronco got disqualified on purpose in the 3rd fight. He could see what was coming, and said, "**** it! I'm gonna hit 'im in the nuts, and go home.":yep

Only works if you believe that Oscar lost to Tito and lost both Mosley fights.

    Otherwise, they're both 4-1.

Oscar's best weight was 147, and Winky's best was 154. So this would be a tough one for Oscar. It would not go anything like the Winky-Tito fight as Oscar was a better boxer than Tito. I see it going a bit like the OsCAR-BHop fight, except Winky doesn't have the size and strength difference Bernard had, so it goes the distance.

Oscar could take this one on speed and slickness, but I would very slightly favour Winky, whose defence and jab would carry him to a 115-113 or a split Decision victory.

Nah dude, I don't know about that one. While I do agree that Winky would have won if he just boxed and jabbed, I don't agree that he won the fight. He chose to fight Vargas' fight, and he paid the price. However, I don't blame Winky for losing to Fernando, he was a formidable fighter and looked to be a certain great until he lost to Trinidad.

DLH at his very best at 154 would never beat the Winky that fought Mosley.

He might decision a pre Vargas Winky but that is doubtful. The prime Winky that put together his peak a boo defense would never loose to DLH. Even with the controversial decisions I think he would win enough rounds comfortably to get past poor judging.

  6. am sitting on the fence with this one i'l go with the controversial draw.

He nearly lost to Sturm, in fact many people thought he did. Wright beat mosley decisively twice, and schooled Tito. Need i say anymore.:nut

Actually if you want to say that then Winky should be 5-0 because I thought he beat Vargas.:deal The bottom line is Winky has the styles advantage in this fight which can't be overlooked. Oscar would have no answer for Winky's jab and wouldn't crack his defense. Winky would out work and out box Oscar to a UD win.

I think it would have been a draw it would be a typical Oscar fight him coming out in the early rounds and doing well but possibly getting discouraged by Winky's defense and Winky may get one of the early rounds and fights strong in the middle and late rounds and Oscar finishing it strong but I think it would have been a draw or a gift decision in favor of De La Hoya

Lots of respect for the Winkster. I'm actually glad to see that.

I'd lean DLH on points here though. He had the frame for 154 that Shane didn't, and he was still in very good condition here as the second Mosley and Vargas fights showed. I also like Oscar's left hook to make Winky think twice at some point about letting the jab go.

It would be a very close fight, the judges would favor Oscar's activity, and Winky would claim he was robbed.

Remeber how easily Winky Wright outpointed Felix Trinidad though - very impressive.
