  3. Don't forget that Margarito was using "special" gloves back then. He probably would have won.

ROFL Dont you remember Oscar bragging that he wanted the winner of Cotto-Margarito??
But the old prima donna changed his mind when he saw Margarito demolish Cotto LOL
Instead he took on little pac man, as he thought, dragged his dieuretically weakened body into the ring. When Pac soundly kicked his ass & embarassed him I cheered loudly.
Oscar nor Daisy Duck had the balls to face Margarito lol

Tony's special gloves didn't help him past Williams..

Oscar would beat the living **** outta' Tony at any weight.

Remeber Oscar had a steel jaw that never let him down - one of the best chins of all time. He was stopped once on a body shot from a middleweight ATG and once by his trainer because his face was all puffed up.

Oscar beats the brakes off of Margarito.

As to why its hilarious that people chastize Floyd for beating a better fighter in Oscar at 154 no less.

Oscar. No doubt whatsoever Absolute skill mismatch, this one. Oscar would have brutalized Rockgloves. Oscar can possibly get it by stoppage, but on points might be more likely since he doesn't throw as freely at 154lbs.

Yep. Oscar at 154lbs was a complete class level above Rockgloves. That some people wanted Floyd to fight Rockgloves instead astonishes me.

Well that's the directive headman bob gave them. it makes no bit of sense, especially considering Tony was essentially a nobody when Mayweather was blowing his way through Judah and Baldomir. And Tony has the worst possible style to ever come at Mayweather with. Wide Slow punches and no defense versus the most technically gifted boxer of the last 20 years? No contest.
