I would not call Canelo a master boxer

This is the kind of match that Oscar should win with a perfect plan, but is actually about 50-50 in because he tended to screw things up.@154

I pointed out the Hopkins fight because DLH`s body was too frail at MW his waist was far thinner than Canelo`s, who I feel can take a bodty shot at MW better than DLH, Conor gassed against Floyd because the body shots kiled him due to his tiny waist, Virgil Hunter was the only one who pointed out that this would happen before that bout, it`s called the models curse and while B-hop caught Oscar wih a peach, I feel Canelo would murder DLH body at MW and Canelo punched well at times to Floyd`s body, but was punching far harder in his second bout v GGG, he was punching with his whole weight, I don`t think DLH could take the shots GGG did in the rematch and I feel GGG would have finished DLH quicker than B-Hop did, head or body.

The rematch with GG was awesome, which DLH fight outdid that?

The fight to extract the rolling pin was reputedly epic.

I agree. I detest the way he and his team go about their business, but there's no denying that once actually in the ring Canelo is something special.

I think he has become overrated on this board. If he had lost both fights against past prime GGG, like he should have, how would he have been regarded?

I think he'd still be regarded highly. He was competitive with Golovkin and he showed new skills that I never saw before. Granted GGG is older and slower but he still hits like a truck and Canelo took some hellacious shots without going down.
