At 154, Oscar from the Vargas fight to the 2nd Mosley fight and Canelo from the Austin Trout fight or Liam Smith fight

Also, who would be the A-side?

Canelo did break his hand in the Liam Smith fight though

Oscar would be the taller and longer man standing at 5'10.5 with 73 a inch reach while Canelo would be the shorter being 5'7.5 with a 70.5 inch reach, Canelo would be the heavier man. Oscar can outbox Canelo imo, but I dont know if he'd try to walk Canelo down like he did some opponents, Camacho, Chavez in the 2nd fight and Mosley in the 1st fight and run onto counters from Canelo and how would he reach to taking shots from someone like Canelo.

It would be close but De La Hoya would be the A-side. At this weight, De La Hoya would lose to Alvarez. Oscar was still very good but his best years were behind him. Also Oscar was a small junior middleweight and he would not have had the guns to take Alvarez out. Canelo by decision, 8 rounds to 4.

I think Delahoya was a little greater than Canelo and fought in a tougher era, but Oscar at 154 was not at this best. But still, I think the jab of Oscar if he fights the right fight would win a close UD.

This is a tough one, both at weights they weren't at their best at, at opposite ends of their career trajectory.

Given that Canelo wasn't exactly blasting everyone out in them days, and DLH seemed to have more of an iron will to push himself, I'm going to slightly favour DLH but not by much. Would be a very good fight

I suspect the bona fide Mexican fighter wins whoever you think that is.

Given the size of Oscar's GIANT watermelon sized head I am surprised he didn't move up beyond 160lbs in his career. He had very good skills and they could have carried him well against lesser skilled opponents.

Anyone who comes to win and is world level at minimum stands a good chance at beating Canelo. It's just FACTS. He's an overrated hypejob who fooled many with his misleading, deceptive run at 168lbs

You don’t think its possible Oscar stops him at 147 pounds with how Miguel Cotto’s brother hurt him?

I considered that, and no.. I wouldn't rule it out. Although aside from that one little hiccup, he showed a fairly good chin down there as well.

I am no Oscar fan as you know but he was dangerous at that weight at his peak.
