This happens with every great fighter after their prime. Tyson, Roy Jones, DLH, Castillo, etc. We have seen them fight when they were great; and in the back of our minds we always see them as they were, not as they are. Glen Johnson knocking out Roy Jones? Yeah right... McBride beating Tyson? please!!! Castillo getting knocked out in the fourth round? Doubtful.

The truth is DLH is past his prime. I myself was victim of this mentality. I picked DLH over Mayweather, I just thought he was too big, strong and skillful for PBF. But I was thinking about prime DLH skills, I blinded myself.

Cotto would knockout DLH, there is no doubt in my mind. Prime DLH? Different story. But dont let your memories blind you; DLH is not even close of what he was, he would not be able to handle the pressure from Cotto. He would lose.

Hey Jack, good to hear from you again.

    Have you been away?

It's good that you want me to help you help me, and there IS something you CAN do to help me.

I've got a favour to ask.

It concerns Requiem4. I know he might not meet all of your standards for a TRUE Oscarsexual, but he is a bit desperate (take a look at his avatar !) and he DOES try, sooooo hard to live up to the loftier ideals oscarsexualism.

Do you think you and Gayb could lower your standards just a teeeeeeeny bit and let him in? It would be a charitable gesture for a boy in desperate need.

    Thanking you in advance,

    Cuchulain.

    P.S.

You will make the others jealous if they hear that you are so intimateley acquainted with Oscar' s most tender and private parts.

Doumb, that was a slip-up on Jack's part.

    Don't embarrass him.

The others aren't supposed to know about Jack's special access to, and worship of, the golden genitalia.

I totally agree especially considering De La Hoya is well past his prime. A younger Oscar could maybe stop him early in the fight but Oscar's propensity to lose steam late in fights coupled with the fact Cotto gets more active and stronger late on spell doom for this De La Hoya. Oscar can outbox him for the first half of the fight but Cotto's body work will be the difference. Cotto by tko 10/11 or UD if Oscar can get off the canvas a couple of times.

What makes you think there would be rounds 6-12?

Mayorga's trainers were banking on that same scenario. And Mayorga's chin is two to three times stronger than Cotto's.

Early to middle rounds KO, and NOT in Miguel's favour.

It's not so much that I feel Cotto's chin is rock solid as it is Oscar's slippage.

How do YOU know what shape the inside of my mouth is, Jackko?

I KNOW how you know about the shape of Oscar's dick !

BTW, didn't you predict a massive Mayorga victory over Oscar, failing which you would be gone forever?

    But you're still here?

I suppose , in the words of Hanibal Lecter, the forum is more a interesting place with you in it.

Hey Jack, you're really in to that man-love stuff, what with pullin' down Oscar's shorts and all.

You're always fantasizing about Oscar in that way. It must drive you bananas if he doesn't reciprocate, eh?

You and Gayb get up to some real kinky stuff, man.

    Oscar by KO7.

Cotto is just too easy to hit and Oscar is an accurate puncher.

Oh Yea..For sure that shot took a bit out of DLH...but it didn't take TOO MUCH away from him...He was able to come back with a combo right after that shot...>BUT he did take notice.

LOL...He is fool! He went 12 rounds with the sports p4p champ and was VERY competitive...some felt DLH won. I didn't but it was a VERY close fight.

If DLH isn't elite based on his competitive preformance against FLoyd then Floyd is not ELITE either. And we know that ain't the case.

DLH is a better figther than both Hatton and Cotto...Mayweather is as well. The skills they have would enable them to win a UD agaisnt either fighter.

Cotto beat Zab but it was a "FAIRLY competitive" showing. I do think the Low blows took a lot out of Zab but Cotto was a true champion and faught at a consistant pace. He did what he had to do to win, but Zab ain't Floyd and he ain't Oscar. The fight between Cotto and Hatton would be good but Cotto isn't going down to 140 and Hatton won't go up to 147 to face Cotto.

I think Cotto would loose to Hatton at 140 and Hatton would loose to Cotto at 147 but BOTH men would loose at any weight to both DLH and Floyd Mayweather based on skills and talent alone.
