Oscar outboxes him and cleans his clock late

There isn't a universe or another dimension or reality where Spence ever beats Oscar.

Put some respeck on Oscars name! Hes just a step below the elite ATGs around his weight like the fab 4, Whitaker Chavez
But above the HOF level Cottos and Bradleys

    Clearly Oscar.

I rate Spence highly and think at his best he'd have given a lot of quality fighters problems at welterweight.

Oscar is not one of them.

Too durable. Too big. Too fast. Too good.

The only time Spence fought anyone near Oscar in quality, he got completely and utterly destroyed in a one sided slaughtering.

Picking an unproven Spence against a proven entity like Hoya in a matchup like this, doesn't make a lot of sense. Imo.

I agree that I think Oscar beats Spence but that Spence could potentially beat Mosley, on paper.

Mosleys power and explosiveness may be an issue for Spence though, in reality.

    But stylistically I agree.

Yes. Oscar was a damn good fighter. Spence showed in the Crawford fight, he has no plan B, either defensively or offensively. Oscar would put a beat down on Spence very similar to Crawford. And before guys come back with the drained to death narrative, being drained has nothing to do with tightening up your defense or your attack.

Oscar beats on him worse than Crawford did. It’s like Bomac said. Spence is just too basic and his balance is very poor. He’s also one of those guys who don’t really care to have a plan B either because he’s so used to dominating lesser opponents, which will hurt even more against De La Hoya.

Forgetting ODLH guys like Vargas and Quartey would beat Spence aswell.
