Hmm... You'd think DLH, but Hurd has a knack for imposing his will on more technical boxers. Best case scenario for DLH would be a wide decision victory, but I think Hurd gets to the body and forces DLH fade in the later rounds, like he did against Trinidad and to a lesser extant against Mosley in the second fight. Against conventional wisdom, I think Hurd does enough to catch the eyes of two judges and comes away with a controversial SD.
Lara couldn’t outbox hurd then Oscar certainly couldn’t. Oscar didn’t have the stamina or footwork like lara nor was he as slick. Oscar wasn’t a jr middle either. Was in his prime at 147. Hurd might have stopped him late but when dlh gasses we know he can run and survive.
Is Oscar promoting Hurd in this one? In which case I think Hurd gets a decision according to the boxing rules as amended by Golden Boy promotions. Otherwise it's DLH ftw.
