The DLH rematch was proof enough for me to know that DLH was lucky he had a blind man in front of him that night at 140 lbs......... Though declined, the version of Chavez who first fought DLH was still very formidable. ......but once Chavez started bleeding from the first jab thrown from a pre-existing cut he had over his eyelid....his chance when out the window, as Chavez is not a concussive puncher and needs to work over the long haul to wear on his opponent. The speed of DLH was too much for the bleeding vision impaired Chavez to contend with....... ......we later found out too that DLH's stamina was'nt all that. Its too bad the first fight never took its course without the Chavez cut........because imo the experience of Chavez would have taken the green DLH deep into uncharted waters and drowned him.
