Oscar De La Hoya should retire after taking a beating from the Pacman and looking like completely shot in the process, but we all know Oscar will want to go out on a wining note, so the only fight that make sense him would be a fight with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in May as DLH'S last career fight, it would be youth vs. Experience and if it were to take place at Estadio Azteca, in Mexico City and Oscar says it will be his last it should do some big numbers and is a winnable fight for DLH if he has anything left at 154 lbs. So DLH should retire, but since he wont this fight would be a good way to go out if he thinks he has enough left to beat Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
I use to think it would happen and it probably should. DLH will do a lot better at 154 and at this point DLH would gain much respect after beating Chavez.
I bet DLH has zero confidence now, I don't see how he can rebound from the beating he just took from a smaller man.
At 154lbs I think Oscar De La Hoya still has enough left to beat Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. by a 12 round UD if they fight each other in May.
I actually would have picked Chavez Jr to edge a decision over DLH, even before last night's ass kicking. :blackeye
