Tszyu was a stalker and had a ridiculous accuracy and power.

Look at what he did to Zab Judah.

I think De La Hoya gets caught and dropped, but then gets up and fights very cagey and smart to win a Split UD.

ODH gets the "Tito fight decision" he deserved to win.

I think Kostya lands a bomb in the first 3 rounds and finishes the job. DLH was a fantstic fighter though and could've ko'd Tszyu as well.

Oscar gets dragged in to a war and comes off worst. Kostya wins by a split decision.

Agreed . Oscar was real nasty at the lower weights and a bully. He beat Tito a
much bigger stronger hard hitting version of Tszyu. Oscar on pts.

Yep, my view as well. I reckon De La Hoya was in his prime at 140.

In the world of boxing, it is a 2-way street....being "decisions" are subjective.

If Tszyu can land some clean hard shots early and make De La Hoya hesitant to throw the right, he will have a lot of success throughout. De La Hoya, will have to rely on his boxing ability and ring I.Q rather than his athleticism, which at the light welterweight stage of is career might be a tall order. De La Hoya has faced the far superior opposition though, so it's hard to pick against him here.

Oscar on points. He uses his height and a bit of movement to score from the outside. He has the strength to work the body and tie up Kostya in close.

    No.

Oscar had a good chin in his prime years and good fundamentals. He won't get overconfident either.
He won't be going out early.

Oscar was only stopped once he moved too far up in weight and was past prime.

Tzyu did get Zab out early, but Zab had crap fundamentals and was overconfident.

Oscar could take a few of Kostya's big shots and keep going I'm not so sure Kostya can take DLH's big shots and he will get clipped plenty here, KT was never difficult to hit.

Oscar kills him in less that 6 rounds.

Firstly Oscar was massive at 140 and secondly was just so much quicker than Tszyu ever was.

Its a slaughter , Kostya was overatted.

At 140 Oscar was still trained by Rivero and that man was creating a masterpiece. He understood the fighter's assets and how to maximize them. The loose, fluid Oscar with the great jab wins easily. Kostya would do better against the later versions of Oscar, after Steward ruined him.
