Oscar De La Hoya .Vs. Mando Ramos

    This could be a very entertaining bout at Lightweight. 12 Rounds. De La Hoya is much faster and powerful. But A determined Ramos is a very dangerous fighter.

    ............A lot depends on Ramos, and how primed he was going in. He fully admitted to training during the day and then at night closing down the bars, and said "I never trained for a fight."

    That kind of thing wouldn't cut it against Oscar. To be frank, De La Hoya was just a better fighter in every respect, and no matter what version of Mando we see, he'd lose by TKO.

    Yes, true. The same could be said of Wilfred Benitez. You cannot just get by on God given talent. But you can't help but wonder, what would have been, with the proper training. How much farther could fighter's like this have gone?
