When Oscar was younger he would have beaten Cotto. he was a little too big and fast for Miguel. Now I think Cotto would stop him.

So you gonna act like Oscar wasn't up on one of the scorecards and a lot of the early rounds could have went anyway, people act like Hopkins put on a clinic in that fight

You said he was up on the score cards. You're wrong about that, don't try move the goal posts. He was down on the score cards.

I don't fancy his chances against either. Shane-Oscar 3 would be a ****ing horrible fight in comparison to the second fight which in itself wasn't a patch on the first fight war they had. I want to say Shane is at the point his career where his endurance, diminished speed and power would make him easy work for Oscar, but hey Oscar looked terrible against Forbes and even worse against Pacquiao. You'd have a fight where two fighters activity would be low and not able to pull the trigger when the openings show themselves. I think you'd be asking for a really **** fight with another decision that would be argued as much as the second fights decision despite any irrelevance surrounding a third fight.

Cotto would stroll his way to a decision against Oscar. I don't think Cotto is particularly powerful at 154, I think he looks sluggish, open to shots that he shouldn't be getting hit with and I think the work Steward has done is overrated. I don't see a massive difference expect the weight diminishing his natural strengths. That being said I think we're dealing with a 118-110 sort of fight (that is being generous).

I don't think Tito can make it below 175. I don't want to see him in a ring either after the Jones fiasco. I hope he can sit down enjoy his retirement and get even fatter.

I say Oscar knocks Cotto out. I think he chases Shane all night and wins a decision.

i think oscar chin's isn't as fragile as you are making out. and the bodyshot that hopkins caught him with came from a bigger man than cotto. remember that oscar got swarmed during the pac fight. his heart abandoned him...and while cotto is a warrior, he has always been vulnerable and oscar has great power

DLH probably can still beat Cotto even after the break but he'd need tuneups, it'd be ******ed to fight a Cotto after such a long layoff. Tune up vs a top 20 guy or an old foe that's been out for a while like Tito then vs a top 10 guy maybe even Mosley then go for Cotto.
