Yeah it was...You know when you receive a gift and youre never so happy in the world because you didn't expect to get it? That like Puerto Rico on Christmas Morning.

If he had Hopkins' size he'd have finished Trinidad as well but people love to forget Oscar was a titlist at 130. :conf

Pernell Whitaker basically did what Delahoya did vs Trinidad, play the running game, only at least with Whitaker he puts on a show while he's on defense and makes it look flashy.
If you're not paying attention, flashy mesmerizes you and you end up thinking he's actually two fistically outboxing.

Again, this british team is of neutral observers not from the US, Mexico, or Puerto Rico.

    Listen to yourself?
You're not supposed to judge a fight reading a prefight scorecard.
Thats how the broadcast crew from HBO does it!:yep

When did DLH ever fight the champion at 130 lbs?

The clown allready fighting as a lightweight, drops 5 lbs just to have a bogus 130 lbs title to his resume.
He does'nt go after the champions there (Azumah was one of them) he drops the 5 lbs to fight for a vacant title against someone nobody had even heard of, then goes right back up to lightweight!
Delahoya in a nutshell for you! :yep

He'd also need Bernard's stamina and intelligence. He had neither, which is why he was gassed by the eighth round against a pressure fighter. Bernard could fight off the ropes so he didn't have to always move. Oscar could not and probably would've gotten killed if he tried. Let's not get carried away here.

With Oscar's power and Bernard's natural size Trinidad wouldn't have seen the 8th the way Oscar was landing whenever he wanted.

Oscar's power? As compared to who? You do realize that in order to land a heavy shot he would have to stand and trade as Bernard did, right? And Tito hits harder than Oscar. Enough to make him run rather than box. Stop, man.

Oscar wasn't smart enough and didn't have the stamina to do what Hopkins did. Period. Bernard didn't just beat Tito with size (BTW Tito was very powerful at 160 based off what he did to Joppy). Oscar would have to do what Bernard did and he actually had a chance to do that when he fought Tito. He just didn't have the balls or the intelligence. Maybe both.

Oscar didn't have the size to do what Hopkins did thats why.

Oscar landed plenty of hard punches though. Tito's eye wasn't closing by itself, he wasn't bleeding for nothing. Look at Trinidad's shorts by like the 3rd round they looked like he was wearing a bleeding diaper.
