I always felt that Forrest matched up better against Mosley than he would against Oscar. Vernon was vulnerable to hooks, and I feel Oscar would have found him, and quite possibly even stopped him. To be quite honest, RIP to Forrest and everything, but he's pretty overrated. He was simply a good fighter who had a better fighter's number. I always hated Oscar, but I think he beats Forrest decisively.
This guy and Vince Phillips were guys I wanted to see Oscar in with. I just think the tall lanky active guys are not a good matchup at all. and can take away Oscar's jab. If a guy takes that away, what else is DLH going to do in there? And he'd be getting hit by the long arms that throw a ton of punches every round. I just don't see Oscar's footwork or workrate late in fights changing the pattern of the fight against that style of fighter.. Actually, it'd get worse and DLH would falter more as rounds went by. I said draw. I think an Arum fight card over his money maker makes it almost impossible to win a decision. You have to get the stoppage and I just don't see that unless via cuts/swelling. But I see this as a Sturm type fight with almost everyone==but the 3 judges and the HBO shills==giving the decision to the other guy. But the 3 opinions that count, just love Oscar. And no rematch for a multitude of reasons.
