Oscar has always been known for having an iron chin.

I saw Oscar took a big right from Bazooka ( I believe it's in the 8th round) that would have put most fighters away. Oscar can take bomb. That was the hardest punch Oscar said he had ever taken ( he said it felt like a brick ).

Oscar's chin is great, it's only that later in his career with the stoppage losses and early on with the flash knockdowns against Valenzuela and Campanella.

Very good chin, he was never KO with a punch in the chin.

I wouldn't even acknowledge those early KDs, Oscar was weight drained at the time. He's always had an iron chin. He could be stunned at times, but he rarely ever got the wobbles in his legs.

He had an excellent chin, his only KO loss was to a bodyshot.

Yep, as some have said De La Hoya got dropped here and there on the way up. He's an example of a fighter who's durability improved over time, in case some people are thinking it can't work that way.
