In the lightweight divisions his left hook was devastating. When he reached his legitimate division Welterweight he was still a good puncher. He could hurt anybody. Not with the right though.
His power came from his speed and technique. He threw a hell of a left hook for sure. Very strong in his stance and he always had impeccable timing.
