I underrated De La Hoya`s defense, I thought he just kept fighters at long range threatening them with fast counters and just had a dent guard that wasn`t very active but this vid proves that theory wrong, how good do fans feel DLH`s defensive skills really were? This content is protected
De la hoya wasn't exactly a defensive savant, though most high level fighters have decent defense. De la hoya was open to getting tagged as he kept his head directly in the center, which requires more reflexive action.
