I do understand your view bro...honestly. On the surface this fight looks like a mismatch to hard core fans. but the puplic or general public is gonna eat this **** up.

And there were other fights DLH could have made like a fight with winky or Tito but I think he feels he beat Tito as do most of the world and Winky isn't exactly an easy fight...nor is it or would it be entertaining.

At the end of the day NO boxer with a career like DLH is going to want to go out in their last fight a looser and although i would give DLH a good shot at beating Mora, Tito and Cotto those fights aren't gonna be as BIG as a fight with PAC and I honestly think PAC could surprise us....I'd be a bit surprised but he is very talented and he's been dominating in the divisions he's faught.

Of course the Marg fight or Willams fight was not gonna happen! DLH knows those fights would have been damn near impossible to win. PAC makes the most sense given this is his farewell fight. Who did JCC, ALI, Joe Lewis, Duran, Leonard ect. fight in their farewell fights?? I Know for a fact they werne't the TOP DOGS in their respective divisions at the time.

When they meet in the center of the ring I hope no one dies of a heart attack from laughing so hard. It will look like David and Goliath. The bully in school picking on the little guy. What the hell is Oscar thinking? Is his love for the almighy dollar that important tha he goes out looking like a fighter that's afraid to fight someone his size? If you aren't an Oscarsexual you realize that this fight should not be sanctioned. Manny at 147 lbs. is insane. If you have everr fought you know how it affexts you uust having to step up one class and fight 5 or 6 lbs. heavier. And 15 lbs. takes away every advantage you have to win. Pac will look slow and lethargic compared to his 130 lb
fighting weight. Sure his last fight was at 135 but 147???
Again Oscar gets the huge advantage. Oscars legacy is full of his "fighting the smaller guy". Almost always having his opponent step up to a higher weight division.
I thought the Paez fight was insane,, Paez the 5' 4" 62" reach guy. But this one tops them all.
Oscar will win, raise his arms in the air and yell in that high-pitched ***gy voice of his "I did this for you my fellow East LA Mexicans and for all of Mexico. I love you all". And then with tears streaming down his cheeks and the roar of the crowd deafening he will leave the ring and go home .... to Puerto Rico! Puerto Rico????   Oscars done it again!

Oscar DeLa Hoya sinks to a new low, has this man no shame at all? How can he still show his button-nosed face in public after the soiling himself incident against Hopkins then the fishnets debacle?
Fight someone your own size you button-nosed ****.....fight Antonio Margarito ,a guy your own size, and take the beating like a man for once, and don't ****ing run again.

Someone should tell him this during the presser. It'd be worth being thrown out.

At least Trinidad fought a former Heavyweight Champion in his last outing. DLH goes out of his way to fight the smaller fighters. :yep

You can have two positions in this case...

    a) Hate DLH.

    b) Understand he has always faced the best and that he has carte blanche to choose anyone he wants in his last fight.
