I don't hate Oscar he's an ATG but this **** is ridiculous. He has no business fighting Manny period. The size difference is too great.
Please don't compare the UFC to boxing. You have weight classes in boxing for a reason a very good one.
I have plenty of friends who will want to see this. So I may. But it's a total farce. DLH should be embarressed for all he's said and done recently.
Look man there is a time to rightfully hate on a man this is that ****ing time all money no legacy on his way out cashing in on the biggest reward lowest threat **** that this is just bad for boxing.
I think we're actually saying the same thing but communicating rather badly at it. Hoya's little guy fights are a recent phenomenom and I feel about it just as you do. His other little guy fights were in the beginning of his career but he was in their proper divisions and not any more reprehensible than what Marg and Williams are doing now. But I would leave Mayweather out of it as it is in fact Mayweather and probably the most technically skilled fighter (pre retirement) on the planet. He was a little guy but one with the best defence in the sport. The big guy can't win if the big guy can't land. But Forbes made sense only if it was a precursor to Mayweather 2. This Pac fight is just lame and I do give Trinidad total props for taking on RJJ in comparison to it.
I stopped reading where the bold ends :deal The blue guy and red guy from your rock'em sock'em robots don't count as friends Lance, nor does your ugly old dog...I don't care if you do "swear he talks to you" when you get high!
This content is protected This content is protected No, his fight w/ Forbes was BS as well. DLH did not need a tune up. Why? He didnt take a beating did he? It was somewhat close, and it was DLH stopping his jab that really messed him up. The fight w/ Forbes was a farce as well. It wasnt a precursor to anything and completely unnecessary. Nothing but a pay day for DLH .again. And what made that fight even more lame is how DLH tried to get Malignaggi for that too. And one other 135er, but I cant remember the name. Look at who DLH has fought or tried to the past several years. Fought: Mayweather Forbes Tried to fight: Hatton Malignaggi Next fight: Pacquiao Pathetic .
*yawn**.... bitter little baby boy comments... You're a joke dawg... This post is basically all you're capable of anymore.
Your right. There are very good reasons for weight classes. But let's spice this **** up a bit every once in a while. If Manny actually pulls this off, it will embellish his resume up one side and down the other and help to stamp him down as an ATG. Besides, you know for a fact this ref. is gonna be especially watchful stemming from the weight difference involved. This is why Oscar has a damn good chance of scoin' a TKO here. If Oscar manages to pin him n' flurry, that refs likely to stop it faster than usual. Mine was a radical comparison, granted. I was just tryin' to express I rilly admire n' respect Manny's courage here. And provided this can be exhibited within safe parameters (which in this case, will be safer than usual), let that kid go try n' tear it up.
You know what?? From now on, we shouldn't mention Tito in the same sentence when we talk about this guy. From now on, I'm not going to even write his name with a capital letter... screw him... What happen with the best fight the best and any fighter should fight anyone without caring about the risk??
Could be....either way the potential this fight has in terms of rev is gonna be through the roof. I wish DLH took on Marg for his farewell fight but I do think this will be entertaining and hopefully a good scrap. PAC may be too small but he has amazing physical gifts that DLH doesn't have at this stage of his career.
What?:huh C'mon now Lance.....DLH never dared to be great? He's tested himself against the best boxing had to offer...even fighting a Prime Bhop at 160 who turned out to be the LHW champ a few yers down the line. The Roy Jones vs Tito fight was just as dangerous as the Bernard Hopkins vs DLH fight. Both dared to be great and both accomplished greatness....that's for sure.
