Oh I see thanks for the explanation. Actually the one critisism I have with K2 and Loeffler is that they don't appear to have any financial clout to offer GGGs opponents proper money for stepping in the ring with such a dangerous fighter,Brook got paid on account of Hearne and SKY deal, you could say he took a few million for a fractured eye socket and that's the reality of it,Saunders,Jacobs and whoever aren't gonna get in the ring with GGG for peanuts as they know the dangers and the likely outcome, did you see Golovkin in that 5th round against Brook?he just upped his level by miles and I still don't think we've seen him at his best yet?
After all the abuse Canelo and Oscar took for ducking the fight (which they clearly did) they have now turned the table, so that Golovkin looks like the one who doesn't want it if he rejects this offer. Look, I know ggg is worth more than they are offering, BUT despite Golovkins hype, he doesn't sell ppv so he isn't getting more money to fight anyone else. If golovkin says no now, Canelo can forever say "we offered, you didn't want it" IMO, ggg would be a fool to turn this down. If it's as easy of a fight as ggg fans think it is, then surely the indestructible ggg can carry Canelo enough to warrant a rematch, no?
Only if it was close which I actually think it will be,but let's say Golovkins wins easy and hurts Canelo then there'd be no re match and things would stay the same,Canelo would not suffer from a defeat and Golovkin would not take over the mantle I'm afraid.
does anyone actually believe oscars sent GGG any official offer? (i dont even believe he sent him an offer to fight canelo in a purse split of 99 to 1% in fav of canelo
The problem with GGG is that, not only does he fall into the high risk/low reward category, but there's a good possibilty he could leave his opponent with permanent damage. The worst that could happen with Rigo is that you get undressed but Golovkin could f*ck up your life. Another problem is that, despite being very popular with boxing fans, he doesn't have any crossover appeal.
He might want GGG to sign with Goldenboy or something in order to make the fight. Probably not going to happen, but remember when Mayweather said that Pacquiao would have to leave Top Rank and sign with TMT to get their fight? Same old bull****.
Yeah spot on but as boring as Rigondeux is he can be real dangerous too,his last opponent got his jaw broke from the first real punch Rigondeux threw,Donaire got pretty **** up too but I get your point facing Golovkin is too much risk with no reward, the reward for Canelo though even if he loses will be the respect of everyone.
