    I

Then in that case, I wouldn't call KO an unskilled fighter in two rds. a GREAT win.

Hell, better skilled fighters are KO bigger fighters all the time, and if the bigger fighter is not a great fighter and not that much bigger, then it can't be a great win.

When Pac fought Oscar he had only one fight at 135 and had been fighting at 130 for those that seem to forget.Oscar was at 154 then had 1 fight at 150 with Forbes.

So is it fair to make Pac go up 15 lbs while Oscar keeps his weight or do you even it out and meet somewhere.Pac still came up 12 lbs from his heaviest fight weight (where he only fought once).Hoya was asked to come to 147.(3 pounds below his last fight.

Do you people realize that the Hoya and Floyd rematch that was in the works was being planned at welter. Floyd won the first fight so the second was to be on his grounds which is the only reason Oscar fought at 15o to begin.

Mosley has been making 147 comfortably as well as jumping for big money at 154.But it's safe to say he's a legit welter. A catchweight is only somehow evening the odds for a naturally smaller man.

Do some research big guys fighting smaller guys in between thei weight somewhere have been a part of boxing since its beginning.

You wouldn't call any wins of Manny's great regardless of who, what, when, or where.

Pacquiao fights his first fight at 140, against the linear champion who is limited but still head and shoulders considered the best fighter in the division at the time. He knocks him down twice in the first round and then knocks him out cold in the 2nd.

You're right, what a shitty ****ing win. Pac SUCKS

You don't even know what you're talking about.Oscar and Hopkins was at a catchweight you jackass.

Shane had at least 3-4 fights at welter before he fought Oscar. He didn't just move up and automaticaaly fight Oscar.

Hey Jackass... That ******* said 3-5 years, not 3-5 fights moron.

The fact that fighters move up all the time is nothing new.

Oscar moved up to 147 and fought Whitaker. Fought Castillejo in his first fight at 154. Fought Sturm at 160.

Pac fought Oscar at 147, but now he doesn't want to fight Mosley or Cotto at 147??/ WHy TF Not?

This further proves that the DLH win should not hold so much weight. It's worse that Lewis getting credit for KO Tyson.

You must not have read my first post it tells you why. Oscar had a great career but 160 was just too much for him. He arguably lost the Sturm fight.
Which is why he made Hops meet him at a catchweight.Cause 160 was no where near good for his body.
Was Hoya a ***** for making the career long middleweight who started his career at 175 a ***** for making him come down in weight? NO

The Oscar win was a very good win against a faded Hoya. The same Hoya that had been around for years. Floyd had the same chance against the slow foot movement plodding Hoya. But he's not the offensive genius Manny is and doesn't have the same foot speed as Manny has now.The Forbes fight proved the same thing Forbes did have minor success because he attacked more.

Comparing Tyson/Lewis to Pac/Hoya is some bull****. Tyson hadn't had a meaningful fight in ages. Hoya had a year earlier come off a year of inactivity to lose a split deciision to the worlds number1 p4p and had just a few mos earlier won every round against Forbes at 150.

Was Oscar past it? Yes. Had he been past it for years. Yes

Exactly. And Mosely started his career at what, 135? The guy isn't a damn heavyweight.

Pac isn't scared to fight him- I think he would fight Klitscho and give it his all should he be in the ring with him, and he wouldn't complain a bit. But ROach, he's a different story.

He wants Mosely to come in drained and exhausted, like DLH. IF Sugar is smart, then he won't screw around, and Roach will avoid that fight like the plague because his man gets knocked around and out at 147 by one of the ATG.

Fight at 147, or not at all.

As I recall, Mosely weighed in at about 145 1/2 for the Margarito fight, and my man looked like a killer. I wouldn't go below that.

Roach wants an unfair advantage over a fighter in his 40's, who is past his prime, slower than Pac, and now wants to weight drain him.

It's not about whether or not Manny SHOULD fight Mosley, it's constantly trying to discredit Pac's destruction of him........Dude is a out and out ***boy....

How stupid would DLH be if he was promoting HIS fighter by saying he was going to get KO, or even be 50/50. He needs to get ihs fighter all the leverage.

It's like Bob Arum saying Pac would probably get KO by Mosley while trying to promote the fight.
