lets see how he does against David first. I think manny blows him away despite the 5lbs jump in weight. I would prefer he took up a tuneup at 140lb too and then Oscar. Thats if this fight HAD to happen. Personally, I think a fight with Oscar is a career ending fight win or loose. It will hurt him both physically and mentally. Mentally in the sense that im sure after getting paid 20mil and fighting the biggest name in the sport, Manny wouldnt really want anything else from the sport. So you can forget great matchups at 135 or even 140.

Mayweather wants 20 million for the fight....

Pacquiao just said last week he wanted anywhere from 20-30 million. So how is Mayweather asking for too much?

    Prove it.

And then prove that Pacquiao vs DLH will sell more than the biggest selling PPV of all time in boxing.

In other words, you are just saying whatever trumps up Pacquiao again. Mayweather can't be asking for too much if Pacquiao is asking for perhaps even MORE money.

My guess is you haven't even heard that Mayweather is asking for too much, you just tossed that in there. Produce a link.

    PacDbest,

We are in the same boat as far as "US, wanting PAc to win on all his fights" but don't you think you are underestimating the skills of ODLH!?

I have high respects with Pac as much as ODHL. Though we know ODLH is just a fraction of his old self but he still have the abilility and skills to win convincingly over Pac!

In fact, Pac could be hurt more than Pac hurting ODLH. We all want legacy for Pac but stretching his weight category way beyond his comfort zone will defenitely not benefit Pac. We will not see the old self of Pac with his speed and power!

    Based on logic..
With no speed and power, how can you expect him to win over ODLH!

Don't get me wrong, I'm a Pac fan like you. Just want to hear your thoughts again..

Everyone thinks that this is an obvious mismatch, but come to think of it: oscar can't even put out feather fisted forbes who started in 126. Manny's natural weight class now is 135-140, though he comes 145 or more during fightnight and at 145 in the diaz fight: still maintained great hand speed. Roach said in a local telephone patched interview that they are proposing to odlh, that the fight be held at 147, odlh last fight is at 150, so that's 3 pounds lighter: i think odlh can get through with that no prob. After the pacteam reached the required weight limit, they would reduce pac's weight at 145 during fight night: to have a clear advantage at speed. And remember pac is now a complete fighter. He have lateral speed and spewing combinations at his disposal starting with that lead right hook, which he showed at the diaz fight, so to say that hoya would outbox him: would'nt be that easy either. If hoya choses to slug it out, bet on it that pac would just pick his shots and use his laterals to control the game outside. I made a thread b4 that pac is no longer one dimensional, and if he would show that to hoya and beats him in the same convincing way as the diaz fight, then i am justified contrary to what amsty and some posters here would insist that he is still one dimensional which is pure nonesense. This fight on a big name at hoya if ever pac's wins at a technical manner: would prove me that i'm right.

I'm confident with Pac's natural ability. I've seen it in my 1st glance in my 1st viewing of Pac(With MAB). Pac keeps Proving in all his fight up to now that he can carry his Power and Speed at any weight he's fighting. I don't know why are you still doubting Pac. Pac is winning because of his speed.

What's Glory without risk??? I don't want Pac beating an overmatch opponents everytime. Armstrong & SRR did it in the past and take risk and becomes successfull that's why they are there in the top list of ATG. Pac is doing the same thing. the opportunity is there, Why not try to Grab it???
