Eh, they can be, as reasonably as DLH vs. Quartey can be scored DLH's way...

Point is he wasn't invincible or immune to being in very close matches with elite fighters, in his prime.

I haven't seen the rematch with Mosley, but DLH clearly won against Trinidad. However, he ****ed away what SHOULD have been a comfortable UD by just coasting the last few rounds. He should have been more active, then the judges would have given them those rounds.

You don't think a prime version would do better than the badly faded one who fought Floyd in 2007? :think

People talk about that but some of those weirdo judges actually scored the late rounds to Oscar. That coasting had no effect, those judges were not even watching the fight.

I scored it 116-111 in favor of Oscar.

Maybe a little, but I've always disagreed with the notion that he was "gone" enough to significantly alter the outcome and make it a foregone conclusion that DLH wins.

Exactly, prime Oscar against elite fighters produces close fights that have gone in a number of controversial directions. I don't see how this disputes someone claiming Oscar could win.

What kind of jab are we talking about ??

An Ike Quartey jab is a bit different to a Maidana jab.

He can block in obviously but it's definatley the easiest punch to hit him with. Even Maidana had a success with the jab.

Hence, why if Mayweather ever fought The Special One: Kell Brook, he'd be eating that ram rod jab all night. :deal

Maidana landed a combined 77 jabs on Floyd across 24 rounds of boxing - he clearly didn't have "a lot of success".
