just accept the way things have become...and urge ggg to make a move and "adapt or die"....

when you allow someone to challenge for a title at a cw you should reasonably expect him to feel entitled to defend it at one if he chooses.....its not pretty...its not perfect....its just the way it is...aint canelos fault.....blame sergio or something....the things been defended 3x in a row at a cw.....just accept it.....

everytime a ggg joyboy doesnt like what they hear or cant really say anything they resort to telling us were pushing some agenda or are racially motivated...its sad

I don't really give two hoots personally about the Golovkin- Ward situation. Nor do I really see the relevance of that matter to a debate about Canelo disgracing the sport. I would have liked to see Golovkin-Ward but as per the Rigondeaux-Lomachenko saga, if one fighter doesn't feel he can come down in weight and the other thinks he'd be giving up too much in weight by moving up then that's just the way it is. It's nobody's fault in particular, it's just unfortunate.

However, the reality of the situation is that if you want the right to credibly be able to accuse someone of ducking you then it is up to you to make the compromise in order to try to make the fight. You can't demand the fight at your weight on your turf and then accuse another fighter of ducking when they are willing to make a reasonable compromise and you aren't.

To be fair I don't think Ward himself has ever made any such claim. This statement has mainly been made by a distinct black American mafia on this board which has an agenda in the form of trying to character assassinate any non-black fighter who is seen as a threat to a brother. Golovkin's fanboys (some of whom are equally moronic) make bold statements about him knocking out Ward/Hagler/Hearns/whoever and the vultures therefore soon circle in a misguided attempt at defending the honour of their race. Then there are some in Ward's case who are genuinely brainwashed, who have become that used to him having everything his own way in every fight (every super 6 fight on home turf, Dawson down to 168, then dragging Paul Smith who isn't ever the best super middleweight in his own family up to 168) that they think it's a God given right and anyone who won't accept terms which ensure the dice are loaded in Ward's favour must be irrefutably ducking him.

when u chase fights at 168 with carl froch and jcc jr(who is as big as ward) ...and you claim "anyone to 168"....and then make a weight demand of 164 which you know ward cant make....you ducking...plain and simple

I can't believe there's still somme people defending Canelo. Himself said he was not a middleweight. I have no problem with it but when own a middleweight belt, you cannot take it as an hostage and ask you're adversary to go at 155. If he wants to ask a middleweight to drain himself to go at 155, it's fine but you have to vacate the belt. The worst is that that corrupt entity (WBC) won't even strip him. Completely ridiculous.
