He faces a guy his size, one who's a legit top fighter, and can beat a tough as nails Mexican. All wins for DLH, assuming he can win that is.

 

It is true with the games. He really thought Cotto was going to win and that is why he wanted the winner. We all can speculate on who he is going to fight and I believe it is going to be Margarito or a 154 fighter. If not and he fights Pac. Let's all do what everyone else is doing, wait. While we wait, there are lots of more fights brewing at LW.

 

I think Oscar would have a small chance of an upset with his speed and fighting in and out style. Like he did with Tito. Margarito follows fighters around the ring.

How all the fans of Margo want Hoya to retire because he is ****ing up boxing yet Margarito himself called Delahoya, only, out after his fight. Another contradiction is all the Floyd haters bashing him for opting to fight a rematch with Hoya yet are now failing to bash Margo for asking for a fight with him :deal

everyone on here needs to calm the hell down. Most guys on here remind me of a slut on the side that hates a guy cuz he has a chick but still come around to get ****ed when ever he calls you over. You all want Oscar to quit fighting and that he should retire, but yet all you guys are going to be part of his 900,000 plus PPV buys . He'll fight and we will all watch. Oscar never wanted anything to do with Winky Wright and that will never change. Floyd/Oscar 2 will not happen either.

 

I was gonna throw a shitload of cash on DLH to **** Manny up. After what Forbes did to DLH's face, I'm really not sure I'm gonna bet on this fight.

1. You didn't address the subject matter of the thread at all.
2. You didn't counter any of my arguments with logical or reasonable objections. An example of this would be maybe a justification for Margo calling Oscar out maybe or a reason why Margo calling out Oscar (who isn't even a ww) after his biggest win of his career

You are missing an obvious distinction here. Manny Pacquiao is a glorified lightweight! Margarito is DLH's size.

Granted, we'd pick Margarito but it would show some courage on DLH's part in stepping in with him. It would be at least a fight he could garner respect for. Sometimes you look better losing than you do winning. This is one of those times.

As bad as the Mayweather-DLH fight was (a novelty as neither guy had established substance in their respective weights), this is even worse. It's a guy who has no substance at 154 fighting a guy who has done nothing from 140-147. It's a circus fight, nothing more.

 

I think you have the wrong idea about what I'm saying. I DO NOT support Oscar fighting Pac. I posted above the options I think Oscar should pursue and Manny is not one of them. I just think it is very hypocritical for someone to say Oscar needs to retire and that he is ruining boxing, when their favorite fighter and now (debatable) the #1 WW in the world is calling him out for a fight
