Roach said he noticed intra-venous marks on his arm,indicating the Golden Boy had been pumped up to regain his strenghth. Could it be his stomach was completely shut down because he drained himself too much? Is it even legal before a fight,i have no ****ing idea.
Does Roach not realize that he's taking from Pac's victory by pointing out that DLH hand needle marks on his arm??? This really explains DLH's inept performance......the man was so sick from dropping the weight, he could'nt rehydrate the way he normally would. Serves DLH right for dissing Margarito, and picking on a junior lightweight!:yep
Doesn't surprise me, the way he looked. Sort of good, because it could mean that he can fight again at a higher weight and at least look better. He deserves to go out a winner.
The fact that its Freddie Roach saying this, is what makes it relevant. It helps explain DLH's non-performance.
Freddie's probably telling the truth. Training Oscar, he probably knew that the guy would kill himself just to maintain a weight close to 147 pounds, that's why he thought that Manny had a big advantage at 147. I heard him say that he really likes Oscar, he respects Oscar and he was good to him when they worked together. They had a bit of a misunderstanding before this past fight, but Freddie hopes that they'll be friends again in the future.
I would not be suprized it DLH had help to try and gain some strength. Is it just me or was oscar chewing a sugar tablet or something on the way to the ring. I think there is a real story behind the weight loss and its effects maybe one day we will find out the facts. I dont see Oscar going on a loss I think he will fight one more time
