Yea but Manny doesnt deserve any credit for Beating Delahoya . Oscar was a weight drained Deadman in that fight who looked like he didnt even know that he was in a fight .

Although Oscar was past his prime when he fought PBF , he was still competitive , he manage to win 4 rnds against Floyd and was nice enough to lump up Floyds eye .

I respect Floyds win over delahoya , Not Pacquiao's .

Nonsense. Oscar at his peak essentially lost every big fight he was in.

Stop making Oscar out to be some monster. He wasn't. Talented multi-division champion who didn't deliver in his biggest moments. He was a marketing windfall, that is why Oscar was so relevant. Clean-cut, well spoken, Mexican-American who had a huge following after his gold medal.

This guy never wanted to fight Mayweather, who had been calling him and Mosley out since he was a lightweight. "High risk, low reward." He knew Mayweather was a threat and never answered his calls until he was ready to cash out.

We'll have to agree to disagree.

Oscar gave Hatton advice on how to beat Mayweather. He gave Mosley and Victor Ortiz advice as well and you all know the result. I'm not sure whether DelaHoya hates Mayweather so to speak. It's probably just business IMO but then there was an issue before Golden Boy was formed. Mayweather was supposed to be involved but he wouldnt allow himself to be a tocken black dude the way Hopkins and Mosley were made. Mosley owned nothing in GBP and was supposed to pretend he was someone which is what Mayweather refused so maybe there could be an element there.

He had lost 3 of his last 4 IMO, because Sturm was a blatant robbery.

    Only victory was over Mayorga.

    This is all true.

De La Hoya annoys the hell out of me, since he stopped fighting he's become a caricature of himself, that stupid annoying grin behind every fighter being interviewed...his little squeaky voice.

Reason it's hard for me to hate Mayweather - his brilliant Oscar impersonation in the lead-up to their fight hahaha pure gold

Vargas that fought Hoya vs the Mayweather that fought Hoya would be a good fight and is no gimme for Mayweather by any stretch.

Also, I think the Vargas that fought Hoya would have beaten the Hoya that fought Mayweather.

Mayweather at 154 is ****ing overrated as hell.

People don't think a prime Vargas has a shot at him? lol....

Floyd has this aura of invincibility and everyone truly believes hes not human cause he has not taste defeat yet . I rufuse to believe any fighter is unbeatable nor inhuman . If anything Floyds last fight should have open up a lot of people eyes . He had trouble against a 7 rnd fighter past his best . Floyd shown he was hittable, slightly fatigued, suffered a bloody nose and a bloody lip .

You should know by now Floyd is a God in ESB so of course He wont lose to a Prime Vargas .
