Margo is not the best out there. Williams would tell you that. Once people get that thru their heads you would understand more about who the best is. The best does not have a loss recored exactly one year ago. The best would avenge that loss or attempt to. Margarito has not done that. He beat Cotto. But he can not lay claim to being the best at 147. Its just simply not true. No matter who says it.

 

I hear you man, there needs to be a Williams/Margarito rematch to prove who reigns supreme at 147 but Margarito/DLH would sell more than DLH/Williams by far. Mexican fans would love to see Margarito beat DLH's ass. I can't blame Oscar for not wanitng to fight any of the top guys at 147. Did you see what little Stevie Forbes did to his face in his last outing? Imagine what AM would do.

 

Oscar wont fight Margarito... he doesn't want Parkinsons disease.

 

by your own standards Williams has less of a claim to be the # 1 welter since he has a more recent loss.

And even if he avenged that loss he is still even (1-1 ) against Quintana so until he can prove he is better than Quinatana he shouldn't even worry about Margarito.

 

And Margarito still needs to prove he is better than Williams...That is the point...Because right now..As it stands..Williams has proved he is better than Margarito. So Margarito needs to prove that is not the case and not worry about Oscar who is at the retirement stage.:good

 

Oscar has fought a who's who in boxing in his era, period. If he wants to retire off a big fight, he has earned it. He is 2 fights removed from a SD loss to the p4p king.

 

He already beat Quintana and in shocking/outstanding fashion. Does this mean that Lewis isn't better than Rahman and McCall?, of course not. As long as an immediate rematch was there and he won then he proved he's better.

Williams doesn't really need to worry about Margarito, it's supposed to be the other way around.

 

No doubt in my mind Oscar would beat Margo. And I'm not a DLH fan.

Here's the thing the first fight really could have gone either way, however, the rematch ended in a decisive victory for Williams.

 

Dela HOTA will not fight Margarito. I wish he would though. BOYCOT HIS PPV and he just might get the message.
