Mark Kriegel: When you look back on your career … what was your shining moment, what is the moment that you are most proud of, the fight you are most proud of?

Oscar De La Hoya: The fight I was most proud of was the first Julio Cesar Chavez fight because everything was perfect. It was almost a perfect fight for me.

    Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

    Hear that sound?

That's about 100,000 mexicans stampeding in Oscar's general direction.

    Oscar fan are we?

Randall doesn't come close to beating De La Hoya in 1996! Well nobody else would pick Randall except you - I suppose that's all that counts!

I'd love to see the Golden ***** show up at an event that Julio Jr. is headlining, so I could listen to the BOOOOS as he was introduced to the people that despise and hate his very soul.

Chavez was never owned by Frankie Randall. He lost that fight by 1 point. And then won the rematch

destroying the 96-1-1 Chavez in 4 rounds is what made Oscar who he is today.

No he wasnt. Tito Trinidad, Oscar's PIMPDADDY was the best, 1996-2000. JCC was an old ass man who got his ass kicked by Frankie Randall. Oscar avoided Randall and Kostya Tszyu the way Boy George avoids SCORES in NYC, baby.

frankie was the first to do it...and the second in the rematch when chavez quit like a *****.
oscar gets zero credit for beating up a guy with over 1 hundred fights and was past his prime and was just beaten up my randall.
lost by 1 point on paper. he kicked his ass the whole fight and almost kod him....
on paper one judge had tyson winning in the douglas fight before he was kod

"The Rock" baby!! Whoopee whoopee. Larry Holmes destroyed Ali, but in his autobiography talks about how shitty he felt doing it, and how he talked to Ali afterwards.
