If Floyd is the upper part of your estimate, say 153, and Canelo is consistent with pre-Trout weights, he'll be about 165-167 - that weight difference is more than reasonable, no one can complain then! Floyd won't weigh himself though and then claim he weighed 150 on fight night

floyd opted to pay the fine for not making weight - it wasn't even close and it's the only time he's pulled that

sure, you can always find bigger and better examples from the past
gatti was much heavier than floyd on fight night, but the difference is that it was a division floyd was able to fight at without it having a negative effect on his ability

floyd started at super feather, canelo walked in against trout just shy of a LHW and less than 10 pounds heavier than ward walked in against dawson...

floyd has reached the limit of where his skills aren't compromised by weight, and if the example i've just given you about the gulf between canelo and floyd don't hit home, then you'll never be convinced

wow *****s trying to justify Floyd v Canelo at 147? what??! hahahaha

these same *****s crucify Pac for fighting Margarito at 150, at least Pac had the decency to meet Margarito halfway and gave him 3 extra pounds.
