    He isn't.

Most diehard boxing fans have wanted Golovkin vs. N'Dam N'Jikam for about five years now. (since long before the rest of you had even heard of either when they made their HBO debuts)

It's the Euro middleweight version of Mayweather vs. Pacquiao, the holy grail match-up.

Oh, well then, random 7-post French newbie has spoken. I guess that settles it.

N'Dam is Macklin level, at best. But even if one thinks N'Dam is better than Macklin, it doesn't really matter because Hassan's name is only being used here as a red herring.

The real reason he's calling for GGG to face N'Jikam is that he knows N'Jikam will never fight GGG. The same reason Kid Mocklate feigned interest by saying he'll fight GGG on Pay Per View. They're just roundabout ways of saying there's no way in hell we want our man to fight Golovkin.

Why wouldn't HNN ever fight GGG?

He no longer has the dubious slice of world title pie, nor his zero. What does he have left to lose at this point? As far as 'business decisions', there is no more reason to be risk averse where Golovkin is concerned. HNN is a warrior (as shown in the ring, recovering and fighting back with at the very least heart and championship aplomb numerous times against Quillin and lesser opponents before that including Lorenzo) and should be hungry at this stage with everything to gain from settling this old score - and if he gets KTFO, oh well. No great shame these days in going up against Golovkin and having that happen to you - plus he literally has nothing at stake to lose anymore.

He didn't really have anything to lose last time. I mean, he gave up his belt rather than fight him, so belt preservation had nothing to do with it.

But, I do agree that doesn't necessarily mean he wouldn't fight him ever, since it may well have been his scumbag promoters the Acaries bros that vetoed it, and he's a free agent now.

Well it was protect the belt or the zero and he chose the zero.

Now he doesn't have either, so WTF. May as well go for it.

Strong possibility, especially considering he doesn't come off as much of a coward between the ropes.

I agree. Putting his brand new belt vs Quillin in NY was also unexpectedly gutsy (cause I doubt the purse was oversized), as was the performance.

I read somewhere he was in play for the GGG date Rosado got in the end, that he may have been vetoed by HBO for being too chinny.

I don't know, man. I view them both as second tier champions. I was impressed by the KD spree done by Quillin against N'Jikam but Geale knows how to work his opponents for ten, twelve rounds straight. Impressive, really. Respect to both. Stepping up for the challenge of beating hype machine (and great champion) GGG Golovkin and the reigning Sergio Martinez.

I always wanted GGG-Pirog (shame it fell through in it's last stand) but with Pirog (and my second choice for Golovkin, Sturm) out of the current reasonable picture I'd LOVE to see N'Dam box GGG. It'd be a good fight.

I thought N'Dam would decision Quillin. SO CLOSE! So many times. So many slip ups and then his stupid ass hit the deck NINE times.
