I can definitely see thinking Quillin could beat Geale h2h, and ranking tangible accomplishment it's actually close.

Compare their best five wins.

3) past it Sylvester (but not yet in zombie mode as he would turn overnight against Proksa)

Any combination of Golovkin/Pirog/N'Dam N'Jikam still excites me today...maybe not quite as much as back in 2009/2010/2011 but I'll still gladly take any such configuration over most other match-ups at middleweight.

 

When N'Kijam and GGG both held versions of the WBA title, Hassan avoided him to an almost comical degree. He made Sturm look like he was anxious to take the fight.

Why doesn't Oscar just tell Quillen to fight GGG?

Yup

Make him try to beat NJikam in a better way than Quillin did. Despite 6 KD's, I only scored that fight to Quillin by a couple points... which is amazing for NJikam.

I don't think he'd stand a chance against Golovkin.

 

Agree with your first statement, but I really think Geale is a big level above Quillin in terms of accomplishments/resume.

 

Let's be honest though, if Quillin can drop him 6 times...can you image how much time would he be spending on the canvas vs the Kazahstani monster.
