We're actually both wrong. He fought Floyd at 154, Forbes at 150, and Pac at 145. He was undeniably drained as **** against Pac, and was not drained at all against Floyd. Big big difference there homie.

Yeah *****s, completely ignore the circumstances surrounding those fights and only focus on those two points so that *******s can have their little victory.

So if he was finished at 154 when he fought floyd, then it only stands to reason that he was dead at 147 when he fought pac.

Any unbiased knowledgable fan knows that's BS. He beat Tito which everyone knows, many believe he beat Mosley in their 2nd fight, and of course Vargas, Quartey, Pernell, and Chavez twice.
He only really lost vs. Sturm, when he was fat and didn't take seriously. He lost versus Mosley in their first fight.
Lost against Hopkins who he really shouldn't have been fukin with.
And lost against Pac and Floyd, 10 years past his prime.

At least only Chavez was the only past prime fighter he faced. All of the others were in their primes or close.

I think his main movation was to pump Ortiz up for the fight. However I think De La Hoya also said it for himself. Right now De La Hoya is publicly dealing with some personal issues of his own, and needs to convence himself that his loss to Mayweather has another ezplation other than Mayweather was better. I'm sure that if one of his (Golden Boy Promotions) younger boxers was fighting Hopkins who is a partner in Golden Boy. He would tell that boxer that he was going up a weight to far. Posibily and likely true, but he would be saying it to encurge the young boxer and to fell better about himself.

    Listen you stupid ****s!

Not one of you have mentioned the fact that Floyd Mayweather Sr, as stupid and crazy as he was and is had the ****ing inside scoop on what Oscar could and could not do to his own ****ing son in a boxing sense.

Daddy gave Jr the green light on this one people and Lil Floyd played it safe all the same.
