Look at Oscar's resume! He'd have ZERO problem fighting Gennady.

A D-level fighter should be a solid enough test for a comeback though I don't think it's a good idea but testing the waters can't hurt if he needs to see whether he can chase some fool's gold, it doesn't always work out badly and he was a hell of a fighter and looks in phenomenal shape still. I'd stay away from Golovkin, people are even saying Froch is a madman for wanting to fight him let alone a long term retired Oscar lol.

He couldn't beat D Rod at this stage.
And even Sylvester would probably stop him

Who would be a credible but solid test for a DLH comeback? He'd want a title in 2 or 3 fights if the first goes well, he shouldn't go near Golovkin, which leaves Cotto (depending how long he holds it ransom) and Lee then the 154 belts... he's not making welterweight and 154 might even be too far down but you've got his arch nemesis Mayweather no spring chicken himself and Andrade and Bundrage. Mayweather could fight him for 50-0 lol, I'd think Cotto would still be around if he hasn't fought GGG, Canelo most likely will have a 154 belt, maybe even Thurman.
