Who is ggg's promoter? If Dlh was his promoter, this would be pure genious. If u win, you pull off the biggest upset in history, if you lose, you will help your guy turn into a ppv star

Fight GGG and sign him under Golden Boy as part of the deal like he did with Floyd.

GGG then becomes a GBP marquee fighter and has one of the biggest promotional companies behind him getting him PPV fights. GGG's $1m purses suddenly turn into $10m while GBP take a 30% slice. Multiply that by 2 or 3 fights a year and its easy to see where Oscar's thinking lies.

He can also tell GGG to 'take it easy' on him if they fought too. You dont want to kill your boss.

Just a tongue-in-cheek way of saying he's never coming back. Nothing to see here.

I remember Oscar bragging he wanted the winner of Cotto-Margarito1 as his swan song to go out on top When he saw Tony beat Cotto down till he quit on his knees in submission he pretty quick changed his mind. He wanted no part of Margarito.
So he picked on Little Manny Pacquaio ROFLMAO & ended up getting his butt whipped like a red headed step child anyway
    BIG mistake Oscar ROFLMAO!!!!

Oscar is not coming back. He's just saying this half heartedly.

Thing is it actually makes sense because he would fight anybody.

He'd get in the ring with 1 leg. Didn't matter to him. He'd still bring it.

    My conspiracy theory.

Oscar makes an under the table agreement with GGG to sign with GB when his contract runs out. GGG agrees to carry Oscar into the second half of the fight so that he doesn't humiliate him. Oscar turns GGG into an instant star overnight, making the eventual GGG/Canelo fight 10 times as big as it would have been. GB is saved.

    None of this will happen.

Would you kids get past that already. Oscar is a warrior, even though he's well past his prime, there will always be that fire and competitiveness in him that tries to lure him back. Oscar was my favorite fighter of all time, but I don't want him to come back and get murdered. If he did, I'm sure he would get his feet wet with a c-d rated fighter first and see how it goes.
And his chin has still NEVER been cracked. That is something that could keep him in there with GGG. Oscar took prime Tito's shots, Mayorga, Vargas on roids, etc. He could probably handle GGGs best shot, its the volume down the stretch though that could really do him in.
