Oscar: "I'm worried about manny..."

Just trying to hype the fight, that's all.

 

He is showing a great deal of respect, what's wrong with that? Would you rather him say "Pacquiao is nothing"?

On a side note, **** this fight gets a lot of coverage over there.

 

I only watched about 10 seconds of what he said... so unless it got worse after the "I'm worried about his speed, power etc.", then yes, I did.

Why wouldn't you worry about the P4P #1 fighter? If he didn't worry, he would get knocked out.

Oscar De La Hoya, ladies and gentleman: Part-time boxer. Full time hype machine. Get used to it though - this guy will be in boxing for the next 40 years.

 

Why the headslap smiley? Oscar is a good fighter, but he's a great promoter. He's much better at this than Mayweather ever was. Floyd would tell everyone he was fighting a C- fighter, then would start crying like a ***** after he beat him. It's like, what's the major accomplishment? You just beat a guy you told everyone was a bum. Oscar is selling the fight and if he does win, he can sell the accomplishment of beating a decent opponent.

The only thing that doesn't make sense is your inability to understand it.

This is gonna be a much better fight than people anticipate. I'm ordering this fight. I don't give a **** if it's $54.99 or not.
