Dawson gave up the WBC because his promoter lost the purse bids for the Diaconu fight..... and didn't want to go to Romania.

Plus TV were leaning on him to fight Tarver, but the spastic gave a rematch clause and as such wasted the best part of a year.

Pascal beat him fair and square, the Hopkins rematch should come first while Chad has a tune up.

Dawson did have a bad night but he's young and he clearly lost. Nard on the other hand is older than Jesus and time is ticking. He beat JP but was pretty much shafted. I wouldn't say robbed but it was a horrible decision. The immediate rematch is waht the people want. And Dawson will be getting more props for beating Nard than JP. So Chad just needs to stay busy, wait for the winner of the remtach between Bhop and JP then get his chance to shine.

Honestly Nard can beat Chad....it's a harder fight, but Chad has shown mental lapses in his most difficult fights. Therefore Chad is probably hoping that JP pulls off the upset in the rematch so he doesn't have to chance losing to a grandpa.

A contract is a contract, and it is bullsh!t if Dawson doesn't get his rematch. But... if Dawson had of got his ass focused for the Pascal fight in the first place, he wouldn't even be in this situation. There is no way in hell he should have lost to Pascal. There is no excuse to come in the ring lethargic and unfocused, and let a guy who doesn't have half your boxing ability do that to you.
