You realize when Martinez came back from injury during the Murray fight, his plan was a big money fight vs Cotto then regain all the title one of which he specifically said was GGG.
Cotto another guy people claim duck said repeatedly if GGG brought the most money that's the fight he'd take, GG just isn't worth much.
The Canelo situation is weird though I was disappointed in him dropping the belt realistically it made sense, when has the biggest draw had to bend to a lesser fighter. During the whole saga with Canelo GG has done nothing to make the fight every concession has come from Alvarez.
Honestly while I agree some guys have ducked GG none of those three have imo.
Martinez made a career of beating high risk low reward fights him taking one money fight before plans on another high risk opponent was well within his right he just happened to that fight. Same for Cotto who made a career off fighting everyone a guy like that saying the last 2-3 yrs of his career he wants fights that bring the most money ain't a duck.
I think head to head I'd only pick GG vs Cotto, Alvarez I always thought would beat him, and if Martinez was healthy he'd beat GG too.
Blowing out no hopers and never were' s don't make you great to me, GG don't get fights because he's not worth a lot, his team is cheap, and he doesn't know his place.
Like seriously this dude right now is getting offered money only 10% of fighters ever see, and he's turning it down trying to get Mayweather money like he's Manny and Floyd. That's not a guy getting ducked that's a guy being difficult and having an overinflated sense of worth.
