Forbes IMO is better than Judah and baldimor and Corley put it to you this way Floyd lost rounds against those guys Oscar dominated Forbes a much better fighter IMO than Judah Baldimor or Corley.

    I know,pathetic isnt it?Imagine a WHITE supremacist posted that **** on here.

He should also have admitted Floyd would have been a disgrace if he'd fought Oscar instead of avoiding that issue and acting like it was a worthwhile fight.

Seriously, PBF watched DLH's iffy win against B minus-Level Forbes and would have been traumatized to the point he decided to retire. That's what this thread implies, right?

    :-(

Floyd obviously disagrees with that, Forbes was Floyds long time sparring partner.
Bottom line here is Floyd ran for the hills I am sure there is more to his retirement than just a negotiation ploy, I truely beleive Floyd is comming to grips with reality that he is not a solid Welter and his biggest win at welter was against an over the hill DLH and that win was by a single point on the "OFFICIAL" score cards.
Meaning if Floyd rematchs Oscar its still a risk and should he get by that fight then what? he will be demaned by the public to fight the winner of Cotto vs Margarito, in other words Floyd is being Floyd, Saftey first.

I dont think he will stay retired a la Lennox Lewis. He lives in Vegas and gambles like mad. He had a Record Label, and his own Promotional Company, he needs cash flow. Why he did this now, is still mystifying.

Paul Williams. It won't take him much to get in condition for this fight in September since he only went one round. It has to be a name or Oscar won't fight. It could be winnable for Oscar. Williams has never been in a mega fight and could get in the ring with that deer with lighst look. I just want to see Oscar's last two fights sooner than later or we will have to keep talking about his next fight for the next few years.

I'll say PBF-DLH 2 takes place on September 20, 2008, after the negotiating ploy/publicity stunt is over.
