Oscar is too old for Floyd but Shane is just right for Cotto?

The only explanation behind this that I can fathom is that Mosley has been more active than DLH.

However, I have said since people were calling for PBF to fight Mosley BEFORE he signed to fight DLH, that Mosley was older and I am still not sold on his being "back". I don't buy that win over Collazo as a coming out party. We shall see though.

Kind of like how Judah is considered a great win for Cotto while some fans were upset that Floyd fought Judah and don't give him as much credit for the victory.

I agree with kg - the only thing I can think of is because Mosley fights more often than Oscar.

or that Cotto is a great fighter for winning titles in two weight classes, and Floyd is a fraud for being a titlist in 5 divisions and champion in 3.

:deal only WBO titles matter, not titles or championships.

To be fair, I think Cotto IS a great fighter. But he should not get any more slack than anyone else when it comes to resume and titles. I would feel more comfortable with Cotto being labled great and rated highly P4P if he had actually beaten the champion for his belts, but both were vacant when he won them.

I think he is too, I just find it laughable that a titlist is celebrated higher than the champion who has fought in 5 diff. weight classes.

I think you know PBF has earned his titles. Regardless, this is more about Mosley really and Cotto's credit for fighting him while PBF gets less credit for fighting the younger but "old" DLH. What's your take on that?
