Oscar is too old for Floyd but Shane is just right for Cotto?

    for example, beating someone who is ranked 5th in the division when you are ranked 10th in the division will get you more props and do more for your career than if you were ranked 1st in the division and beat that same person.

    That's perception. If someone asks if Cotto has a better resume than PBF, I am not going to look at it from the point of view that he is not rated as highly as PBF. It is either better or its not.

    Even though Cotto holds the title, he is not the champion. He is in ranked in the top 3. But Mosley is still the #1 contender.

    Mayweather was fighting a DLH who was semi-retired and not ranked IMO.

    DLH has performed much below what he used to perform and Shane hasnt. Its all about money for DLH while Shane wants to prove his greatness.

    thats another good point, floyd is p4p number 1, people expect alot more from him.

    I think that most people (even if they won't admit it) agree that Floyd is on a higher level than Cotto so we expect more from him.
