Damn it Oscar! I always respected Oscar until recently.
Its a shame. That fight could have been great specially for his farewell fight.
I alwyas respected Oscar for taking on the toughest challenges wether he won or lost.

but Oscars last fight is in DEC theres no more golden ticket afterwards. Margarito is 30 years old probably has 3-4 years more in his prime plenty of time to fight williams, santos, and any top competition out there. Common now everyones trying to milk Oscar not just Margarito.

No im fully aware of how Oscar built his career out of fighting smaller guys and taking on fights he was sure to win, unless there was then lots of $$$, then he would take the risk, and dive (Hopkins). The point is he has a different story every other day as to why he doesnt want to face Tony. Honesty is the best policy.

are mayweather fans actually now defending Oscar to justify Mayweathers "accomplishments" in boxing and because he became mayweather's retirement plan (aka cash cow jackpot)?

Oscar has had a terrific career and is a future hall of famer but the man's face appears in the dictionary next to the word disingenuous. He knows the TJ Tornado would tear right through him. I certainty understand why he doesn't want to fight him but blowing smoke up everyone's ass with his cute answers diminishes him.:smoke:smoke

Yeah but all I'm saying is that even though it's obvious DLH is looking for crappier offers after the Pac negotiations didn't go as planned even though Margarito is available he still has a good point regarding Margarito avenging some losses. A fight with DLH isn't even going to work, Arum has both Pac and Margarito yet they're still negotiating a possible fight with Pac with Margarito being out of the question. So any hopes for that are burried right there UNLESS the second Pac negotiations don't go through, even if it doesn't I doubt DLH will consider this when he made it clear Margarito needs to look into avenging his losses.

You really rate Margarito as an "ATG Booster" for fighters out there?, Margarito already has 2 losses to avenge against active fighters who called him out for it. If anything that win will be rated high but in just a matter of days people will yell that Margarito already has 5 losses with two unavenged against active fighters. Might sound ridiculous but that's how things are in boxing.

I agree it will look hot right now but not in the long run and not in a way where it's a ATG status booster, especially when Margarito holds two losses to active guys who are willing to rematch.
