Talk about a slap in the face... Maybe it's bivouac to some of you but it just occured to me that oscar knew the deal all along... He knew Floyd and pac would fight from day 1 when he engaged cotto for canelo... Oscar just talked a big game because he knew it was happening and it was his chance to bring canelo name up in the media and have him fight during the rebroadcast of Floyd vs pac which ensures canelo to have millions and millions of views.... This also explains cotto sittig out. Cotto knew the deal also and didn't want to fight the week after Floyd and pacquao and ruin his ppv earning potential.... Oscar is a weasel for talking bad about Floyd all that time... Smh
What a dumb thread. Oscar knew all along which he purposely back out canelo vs cotto from happening? Are you kidding me? lmfao. Oscar clearly wanted canelo vs cotto because money talks and plus that fight could be move to june which oscar would have no problem. Cotto now looks like a dumb a$$ because he waited too long and see if mayweather will fight him or not but instead cotto now has no big figts ahead of him unless he got the guts to fight ggg. Cotto shouldve agree and sign to fight canelo but instead he didnt and it back fired on him.
Believe me oscar wanted canelo vs cotto badly but cotto waited, waited, waited, waited too see if floyd will fight him again and now cotto looks like the moron. Cotto shouldve known floyd wont fight him cause nobody will be calling for it. Cotto should slap himself very hard in the face.
I doubt it. Floyd is not an actor. In fact he's a terrible actor. The fear he displayed was authentic. Nobody knew if Floyd was going to sign the fight. Arum himself said that Floyd and his father were insistent about not matching Floyd up with southpaws. Yes, that was highly unprofessional on Arum's part to admit this, but at this point, it really doesn't matter.
we all know who signed the contract last, and who was stalling the fight. Floyd had that contract since day one, but took him 2 months to read it.
