thats because all the weight drain talk didnt start until that happened.
Nobody was aware that this dirty tactic was going on to get easier wins until it happened to oscar. The general public knew nothing of this ****.

    if im wrong

find me 1 thread that complained about a weight drained fighter before pac oscar fight was sighned.

now its being tossed around by know it alls like they been had this knowledge used to discredit peoples wins

It was contracted at 158, Hopkins just came at 156 so that he would make DLH look like more of a ***** by weighing in closer to DLH's weightclass than his own.

Oscar decided to fight Manny for ONE reason and one reason alone IMO

He wanted to OPEN THE FLOODGATES to multi-division, weight doesn't matter SUPERFIGHTS.

He thought GBP could be the major benefcator if he spearheaded the plan to make weight IRRELEVANT IN BOXING.

I know catchweights and division-hopping have been around before but I think with Oscar and on this occasion making a guy considered a SuperFeatherweight to jump up to Welterweight it was an attempt to blow away the weight barrier and let GBP have more fight options ............. supoerfights!

Pacquiao is one of the few who can jump multiple weight divisions successfully and I feel what Oscar acheived here was that promoters are now free to consider catchweight opportunities more than before, it's as though it's the new thing, a craze if you like, and despite Golden Boy taking a heavy beating in the ring, I'm sure financially Oscar will be quite happy now that the Public find these multi-weight match-ups more acceptable.

I mean only days ago a high percentage of people are CALLING for Pacquiao V Martinez ???????

Crazy IMO ...... and Oscar's brainchild if you think about it .. :/

Uhhh yeah, that's not common knowledge yet? Even though they can't go to back down to 140 for Marquez... But then use the excuse he's small at 147.. Which one is it.?

 ok.. Oscar fought Pac to pass the torch and try to make him the new PPV King. Manny is more marketable than Floyd due to his public persona. Oscar is a brainchild for that though! Far more casual fans in boxing now due to Manny.

Yep, you'll only get the criticisms if you win. Nobody bitched about JMM fighting Joy at catchweight. Why? Because he lost.

  12. Pacquiao-Cotto @ 145

    :hi::hi::hi:

Cotto weighed in @ 146 against Clottey. Yeah, Cotto was ****ing drained as all hell.

Aside from weighing one pound less then in his previous fight, explain how Cotto was drained? He didn't look drained. He didn't fight drained. He didn't gas out, he was knocked out.

****....I'm trying to reason with a stupid, coward with an alt, ****in troll...my bad. :patsch

He ducked MArgarito big time, after the Cotto fight. Recall when DLH said he;d fight the winner? Then said maybe he'll fight Paul Williams intead of Margarito? As id anyone believed that.

DLH ducked Margarito somethig fierce...and with good reason I suppose.
