I agree. Oscar is a greedy *****, but he isn’t the one who initiated this fight. Pac and Roach made it a point to put this idea out there, and now, are backing out. They have a reason, but it isn’t a particularly good reason, and this was Team Pacquiao’s idea in the first place. It won’t take him 5 fights, it’ll take him 3 or 4.

Though I agree that Margarito should be his next opponent if he wants a good fight but it's the truth, beating Cotto doesn't mean he beat Williams. Some people just drown too easily when it comes to hype.

Mayweather won that fight so why the **** is DLH still worth that split? Manny is P4P best just like Floyd was and gave massive ground upfront by just wanting the ****in fight. DLH is a ****in pansy and would rather get a bigger payday than the easiest out of the most honorable. **** him take you're money and stay the **** out.

DLH has done enough to even bother and think about legacy at this point, he made it clear and obvious that he only want the big names that bring the most money.

So why get in the ring if you aren't thinking about you're legacy??

They just don't make em like they use to ;)

why is Williams the best? In february Williams wasn't even in the conversation after he was schooled.

What I'm saying is if oscar is saying he would fight the winner of margo-cotto. Margo wins and now he won't fight him because he only fights the best. DLH is a hippocrite.

BTW who do you think oscar should fight since oscar only fights the "best". By saying he only fights the best i hope he is eliminating winky and Tito from his list of candidates.

Now Suge, what's to understand ?

If someone offered you three million dollars to fight me, you'd probably take it.

(You're not going to get injured, and you have a good chance of winning).

Would you pull out of this hypothetical fight if you found out that I was going to get seven million ?

he did have the balls to want a fight pacquiao again because he knows that he is getting old fast and wanted to make money that he or his trainer nacho tried to avoid when he was a little younger.

    That's a ****ing good point.

Everyone else is harping on about ego, business men think in business terms. If Manny wants to be a big boy then he needs to think numbers not ego...unless of course he didn't think he could win (I don't think he could).

Hatton would probs go 50/50 and that would load Manny with a similar amount as the UK tickets and BO would be huge...

Because he already did more than enough and wants mega-fights, that's what OSCAR HIS SELF admitted and openly. The man did more than enough to worry about legacy at this point, usually late in a fighter's career after he did everything he could he runs after the biggest names. Also, if fighting Mayweather recently isn't dangerous and good enough for his "legacy" had he won then I don't know what is.

No, Margarito doesn't improve nor define legacy, he doesn't bring the type of mega-fight Oscar is looking for either.

I never said Williams is the best did I?, Margarito is the best but still there is a fighter in his division who has already beat him, if he cares about legacy as he's advertised to be and his supporters yell he is then he should avenge that loss.

Oh I definitely hate the fact that Oscar doesn't want this fight, then again a fight with Cotto, had he won, would have been way bigger than a fight with Margarito. Margarito just doesn't offer the type of mega-fight Oscar is looking for, even after a major win for Cotto he isn't as popular as Mayweather and Pacquiao are and that's the type of fight Oscar is looking for. Trust me, I want Oscar to fight Margarito more than anything but there is a lot behind this as well and this "fear" bull**** makes no sense whatsoever.

WTF are you going on about now. Margarito is hot right now and hotter that PBF was when DLH chose to make him a multi millionaire.

Pac's last fight generated no more than 200K buys which is pretty measely.

SO how can Margarito not offer "the type of megafight Oscar is looking for":patsch

sorry i thought you were kind of alluding to Williams being the best. Well if PAC and PBF are out of the picture and Hatton being tied up is there really any "megafights" left for December 6th?I really see margo as the only place for him to go.

DLH has done nothing recently to earn a shot at the best and he can't beat Margarito at this point either. He should have made the Pac fight with a 60/40 split.
