Oscar: Manny will have to fight 5 fights to equal

I have always defended Oscar because he is a great fighter and also a great businessman. However it is a ***** move to say he would fight the winner of Cotto-Margarito then go after Pac when Margarito won.
I actually think Margarito is hotter than Pac right now and would do better numbers. Everyone loves an all action fighter and obviously Margarito must have something if the fight with Cotto did around 500K buys.

You know the whole world will be tuning in to watch DLH. And also every single Mexican or Mexican American will be tuning in to see Margarito.
This guy has generated alot of talk and interest in the Mexican public.
If Oscar is smart he will fight Margarito because not only will it make his pockets bigger but his legacy would benefit so much from it and i think he actually has a good chance at beating Margarito.

1) JMM "badly" wanted to add some "Legacy" to his resume' so by hook or by crook he will bow to PAC's demands
2) PAC does not "badly" needed to fight ODLH to add " Legacy to his resume'
3) PAC intention to fight ODLH is for the money.
Legacy? C'mon - there is a BUILT-IN excuse if for some strange reason Pac's win's by a miracle. What is the BUILT-IN excuse - YOu see, DDLH lost coz is is washed up. "IF the fight was done at least two or three years earlier pac would have lost in round 1"

I agree! This is a circus act with some of the comments of some ESB members. If the fight pushes through. Logic will dictate PAC will lose.

PBF's huge exposure(HBO's 24/7, Dancing with the Stars, etc) came about as a result of DLH picking him as his next opponent.

Before that he was being accused of ducking Margarito, he got a lot of flack for fighting Judah(cause Judah had just lost), and then went on to put a terrible performance against Baldomir(remember people walking out on the fight).

Margarito with one fell swoop beat the man considered #1 at welter, put on a FOTY performance and racked up relatively huge PPV numbers(more than PBF had ever done without DLH).

SO YES, Margo is hotter now than PBF was before he hit the DelaLotto!

 

figth was stupid to begin with. its ridiculous how much dlh makes and hes sometimes been a boring fighter in some of his matches most notably vs. trinidad when he ran around the ring, scared. fight somebody your own size like margo or go away.

 

Both DLH & Pac are set for life financially to put it mildly & the way they are squabbling over money brings shame to the game, they are both acting like a couple of greedy wankers.

350k vs Gatti, 350k vs Judah, 325k vs Baldomir and all are very close to 400k. Also if Floyd's name meant nothing I really don't think DLH would have accepted to fight him, meaning the numbers were record breaking for a reason and the reason is obvious, not for spammers though.

When was the last time Margarito made 450k before Cotto is the better question, remember the Manuel Gomez PPV?, 30k. Wonder why DLH doesn't give a **** about this guy?, you don't need to.
