Delahoya is a greedy *****.With so much talent in the lightweight division we should see some legendary nights material from Pac in the future.

No. First and foremost, my stance in this(as have always been) is that this is a joke fight and I would rather see Pac fight the guys at LW.

My comment on the purse deal was in the sense that IF the fight gets made. IF the fight was to be made or IF Oscar really wants this fight to happen, then I think he shouldve given to the 60/40 deal. IMO, its not an unreasonable offer.

    Again, the keyword is "IF".

    Don't jump into conclusions.

SOme of you seem to forget that it was Manny and his people who made the challenge.

They even decided to play hardball, DLH aquiesced to most of Pac's demands and at the end it was Pac that balked.

We should all be glad this farce is not taking place, but let's call it like it is!:deal

What kind of proof do you expect Scar? Look at your post.

"if he was the beast an entire division fears and ducks then why is there nothing official to back that statement up?"

For reals, what kind of proof would satisfy you? Should there be many articles claiming Margarito is THE BEAST!! Would articles by writers you'd otherwise dismiss give you this proof you require?

The articles that was posted here a few days ago tells it different. DLH never agreed with the proposed same day weight-in that Team Pac was pushing. They also never agreed about that $750,000 penalty per pound that DLH was supposed to pay for every pound he weighs in above 147.

The 8oz. gloves for Pac and 10oz. gloves for DLH didn't materialize either since it was illegal. And now DLH refuses Pac the 60/40 split.

Pac never got anything out of the deal. Unless of course you have other articles proving that DLH gave in to most of Pac's demands?

Now its my turn. Your glad that this joke fight has been called off, but your pissed that Pac backed off from this joke fight? :huh

All those demands you mentioned just prove my point. Pac's people were the ones who threw out the challenge and then they
put up umpteen conditions that had to be met.

This fight was all about the money or a huge publicity stunt by Pac and his people!

There are plenty of articles that mention DLH accepting the main demands, execpt for the 60/40.

What makes you think I'm pissed at Pac for balking, :huh he actually made my day!

So what is your point? Why is it always that Pac has to be bashed for every single move he makes?

****in hell man, the fight was CALLED OFF thanks to Pac. Yet you sit there and still critiscize Pac for what he'd done(as you seem to always do)? So again what is your point? That Pac "ducked" DLH? That Pac is afraid of DLH that he priced himself out? Atleast Pac had the balls to challenge DLH, even though its a huge risk not just for his career but also for his health.

And no. Don't give me this bull**** that "oh its DLH even Ivan Calderon would gladly fight him because of the money to be made", because that's a weak argument. Its not exactly an everyday occurence that someone THREE divisions down would want to risk it against DLH.

And until you provide an article about DLH giving in to those demands, then don't expect anyone here to listen to your rant. Learn to back up what you say.

My God, we should actually praise Pac for wanting to fight a MUCH bigger and MUCH stronger fighter. Yet there's still some people who still finds a way to critiscize him(especially coming from someone who claims hes a Pac fan):patsch

Apparently there's still some people who aren't satisfied with what Pac has done.

I just posted this in another thread:

Pacquiao's endoresment deals have him set for life.

His Nike deal alone is worth more than the Oscar fight would have been.

Manny may need to fight a few times to make that purse up. He could also kick back and do nothing and make that much in a year.

pac submitted to most demands from GBP. of course this fight was for money, Pac at least expects something higher than 30%. but DLH won't move so he can get himself margarito in the ring, the only meaningful fight left for him and pac can go his own business because there are a lot more options and meaningful fights to be made at his division or even at the jr. welterweight division.
