This is all really wired and has a couple of bad signs when it comes to the future of mayweather. Reading between the lines I think the idea was that 50 was going to be the managing director in a promotional company, co-owned by manny and floyd that was probably going to be set up so that Manny and floyd could share the full profits of a fight between them. The fact that 50 jumped ship from mayweather might indicate that mayweather is thinking of taking himself in a different direction. I.e. he isn't thinking of fighting anytime soon or he's not thinking of fighting Manny. I think if 50 wasn't going to be able to get mayweather to come a long with him in a promotional company designed to promote a manny pacquiao vs mayweather fight he did the right thing moving the contracts he signed to mayweather. To completely rip them out from floyd when they had all basically been floyd mayweather associated fighters would have been wrong.

 

This is completely off. bob arum has confirmed that 50 Cent has plans to be a promoter and help promote fighters who are under the manny pacquiao promotion banners. It's a co-promotion kind of like how Cotto(e) promotions had a deal wif GBP I believe even though Miguel himself was still fighting under the top rank banner
